History

Wilding Butler Construction commenced trading in 1993, with Phil Wilding BSc MCIOB MRICS and Harry Butler FCIOB, as its founding directors. Both are highly experienced in the management of a diverse range of construction projects and still involved with the business today.

Initially projects undertaken were primarily for small domestic property extensions and alterations, with the very first one valued at £9850. From its inception the company developed a distinctive reputation for total professionalism, quality work completed on time, with a consistent first class service.

Within a short space of time, work for more commercial clients and organisations were being successfully undertaken and in 1996 the decision was taken to focus more on projects for the public and commercial sectors. As its reputation and turnover grew the number of experienced qualified people was increased, to enable larger value projects to be successfully undertaken. A greater number of projects were being undertaken for a number of key clients in Automotive, Education, Ecclesiastical, Health, Housing, Leisure and Retail sectors. As the business and its reputation grew, long term relationships and repeat business opportunities were established with a number of key clients, which in some cases still exist today.

In May 2003 the company moved into its present modern purpose built, 2 storey offices, at Winchester, from where it now operates, undertaking new build, extensions, refurbishment, alterations, fit-outs and design build projects in the range £500k to £5m throughout Hampshire and the surrounding counties.
